Opening of Fading Out/In Exhibition
Fading Out / In: Designed to Remember opened at The Design Museum, DX design hub, with Hong Kong Design Centre on 29 July. It is on view until 2 November 2026.
All Things Circular
In September 2025, the show we first made for Dutch Design Week came home to Hong Kong. All Things Circular: Hong Kong Designers’ Circular Innovation ran from 8 September to 24 November 2025 at the Design Museum in DX design hub, Sham Shui Po. It was organised by Hong Kong Design Centre with the Consulate General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong and Macao. I co-curated it with HKDC.
Revamping The Full Gamut
The Full Gamut closed in July 2023, but we weren’t done with it. From 29 November to 12 December 2023, Design Spectrum brought it back as Re: Full Gamut at the HKDC Design & Fashion Base in Sham Shui Po, one of Hong Kong’s best-known textile neighbourhoods.
Designing Circularity
In October 2023, Hong Kong Design Centre took a design showcase to Dutch Design Week. ((Capsule)) Hong Kong Design Showcase filled Microlab Hall in Eindhoven’s Strijp-S district from 21 to 29 October. Story Lab co-curated and produced it with HKDC and Number2, and I designed the space.
Designing The Full Gamut in an old factory building
An old factory is not an obvious home for a fashion show, so we first had to turn it into a place fit for exhibition. Fashion usually relies on glowing, polished light. We chose cardboard instead, a recyclable material that makes you think about what the industry leaves behind.
Towards Architecture and Beyond: Speaking at the M3 Symposium in New York
